If you find yourself in Alexandria on a Saturday, you must stop at the farmers market and then make your way over to Mai Thai for a late lunch. We stumbled upon it by accident when we realized how hungry we were after walking around downtown Alexandria. Located right on the shore line, it is a great place to go before or after checking out the boardwalk. It’s the perfect place to go with a crowd and split a few items family style. You leave it full, but not to the point that you immediately need to go home and take a nap. They have a ton of options for all different diet requirements. Very vegetarian friendly.

The Fresh Garden Rolls are a perfect, light refresher to start off the meal but double check before ordering as they also have fried spring rolls. Their pad thai was unlike any other pad thai’s I’ve had before due to it being a more sweeter sauce. I think it may be my preferred way going forward. I am not sure what was the cause of the sweetness but was a big fan. Curry Noodle’s were also really good and though I did not order it myself, it may become a new staple when I go to Thai restaurants. My overall rating 9/10!
