Located in The Wharf neighborhood of Washington D.C., there are a ton of cute shops and restaurants right on the boardwalk. It’s a great area to people watch and try out all the different cuisines of D.C.. Mi Vida is a cozy Mexican joint offering some typical classics. We went family style again, and ended up ordering the perfect amount of food. Of course had to get guac (not pictures cause I am the worst) and I’m curious, there was an add on option of blue cheese, grapes and almonds, and I was wondering if that was a typical way to eat guacamole cause I have never heard of adding those things. After devouring the guac, we split the enchiladas de mole negro (which just looked so pretty) and the tatanachos; which packs a secret heat that will have you searching for water and some plain chips to help cool the fire. My overall rating was 8/10!
