Sometimes you want delicious comfort food with a touch of diner greasiness but not the entire greasiness if you get what I mean. There’s nothing better than when a restaurant focuses on comfort food but adds their own individual twist to it. That was The Little Owl. They take comfort classics, especially classics from your childhood, and elevate them aka make them adult. Another place that has been added into my rotation for comfort takeout.

When I went to pick up the food, I was surprised on how family friendly this place was. It kind of just screamed fun. With amazing music, color paintings on the walls and old school arcade games it’s the kind of place that any age could enjoy. Plus food was just fantastic. Their BBQ pulled pork tots is something I will be craving all the time. Like just solidifying the fact that there truly is not a better combo then meat and potatoes in different forms. It’s definitely a place I would bring people to or would recommend in the western Chicago suburbs. My rating 9.5/10.
