Capri (To Go) in Indian Head Park, Illinois

First off, let me start by saying what kind of genius concept this is. I mean it’s pretty much carryout so it’s not that genius of a concept and now I feel weird starting this post this way, but whatever, we are just going with it. Capri To Go is related to the main Capri in Burr Ridge (despite what some may think). It’s a way for you to get good Italian food closer if you don’t live as close to the main restaurant. Essentially it’s a restaurant solely on take out. There is no seating at this location. (I very much over complicated this introduction but do we expect anything less from me at this point).

For takeout, this food was very good. Definitely want to go to the original and compare to see if it matches up. Their pastas were both decent. I’m not a big marinara sauce fan but it definitely worked with these dishes. The eggplant rolls though were the absolute best dish out of all of them. Eggplant I feel like has a very fine line between eatable and veggie mush (#veggiemush). This was not veggie mush. If I could get something over and over again from this restaurant it would be the eggplant rolls. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting good Italian takeout. My overall rating for Capri To Go would be 8/10!
