Yerbabuena in Lisle, Illinois

I think if I had to chose one type of cuisine to eat the rest of my life, I’m almost positive it would be Mexican cuisine. I love everything about it. There’s so much variety in the food and everything is just so good. So naturally when it was my turn to pick the place for my biweekly sister lunch, I knew I wanted to check out this Mexican restaurant in Lisle which was recently recommended to me by a family member.

The restaurant itself is very quaint, located right in downtown Lisle with lots of cute stores nearby to browse, it’s the perfect place to go for date night or bring the entire family. Plus with an extensive margarita list, you can’t go wrong (raspberry margarita was crazy good). Their house salsa has just the right amount of spiciness that doesn’t have you grabbing the nearest beverage. For the entrees themselves, you get heaping portions great for leftovers (or snacks later on). Its a place I definitely want to go to again and keep trying all their different specialties. If you’re in the Western suburbs, check this place out! My rating for atmosphere, drinks and food is 8.5/10!
