I am taking full blame for not getting the most out of this restaurant. I did little to no research prior to visiting about Vietnamese cuisine and did not know what I was ordering when doing so. I went in batting a 100 thinking I could just pick a random pho and that it would work for me. No Meghan. That is not how food works. So if you have never had Vietnamese food, like myself, do the research before hand just to get an idea of what you may like when the time comes for you to try different dishes. That being said, this did not push me away from Vietnamese food. In fact, it made my desire to try it even higher and to keep trying dishes and learning about their culture while doing so. If you are a lover of Vietnamese food, please leave any dishes you love in the comments so I can check those out going forward. End of my tangent (for now).

I visited Noodles Pho U with one of my sisters recently as this place had been on my radar for a while. I had never tried pho or any other Vietnamese food and was excited to check it out. They have a large list of boba and other drinks so we decided to try their Hibiscus Lemonade and Coco Loco (think Pineapple smoothie with boba in bottom). Their fried Vietnamese Spring Rolls were very good as an appetizer and I believe they are also known for their fresh shrimp spring rolls as well. For main dishes my sister got their Pad See Ew (not really Vietnamese but still very good) and I tried one of their phos. I think my struggle came when I didn’t really know what kind of meat or what part of the meat I was ordering and just kind of went for a random one. This is where I should’ve done my research. Overall my rating for atmosphere, drinks and food was 6.5/10.
