The Wrong Family by Tarryn Fisher

On paper Winnie and Nigel look to have the perfect life. They have the perfect marriage, the perfect house, and the perfect kid. Before Juno moves in with the family she has the same thoughts as everyone else. How can everything always work out for them and life be so great. But they’ve got secrets. Secrets that could end up destroying them. And Juno has decided she needs to bring their secrets to the public even though she has some powerful secrets of her own. Don’t throw rocks at glass houses Juno as it will come crashing down around you.

Freaky! Freaky! Freaky! Meghan will not be sleeping great tonight (she says in third person). This book is absolutely insane. It will have you double checking all your closets and large cabinets from just fear. Thought it would be a fun idea to read some more thrillers especially with Halloween right around the corner but I stand corrected after reading this one. I mean thrillers are great especially if you like reading the unexpected and insane plot twists all the time. But I have learned that while I enjoy thrillers, I can’t read thrillers that are based in a city that I may currently live in. It was terrifying to read about places that I visit weekly in that kind of manor. Shivers! While The Silent Patient is still my favorite thriller style book this is a great pick for anyone who wants to read something a little scary this spooky season.
